Thanks for visiting Florida Guppies Plus, located in Miami, Florida. We have been raising and breeding Guppies, Angelfish, and other tropicals since 1977. In the past 6 years it has been our fulltime job, not a hobby. With our hard work and effort I have shown many fish and won numerous awards.We were a certified I.F.G.A. guppy judge and I.B.C. betta judge.

The development of our H/B Greens has been the most exciting thing we have done with our guppies. With our Koi we are continuously breeding for more orange in our lines.

Our current Koi lines have improved greatly with some recent outcrosses to other lines. Now with our new wilds from Peru we hope to streghthen our current lines and keep a pure wild line in captivity.

In 2004 we were able to accomplish the breeding of our wild Red Spotted Peruvian Angels collected in July of 2003.We are now growing angels collected on our 2004 trip to the Amazon.

In 2005 our dream about opening a store became a reality and we opened AMAZON JUNGLE PETS, here we carry our full line of tropical fish foods and medications that have been used and tested in our hatcheries. We also have birds, reptiles, small animals and supplies for them.

Our commitment is to breed and raise Show Quality Fish. All our guppies are raised to I.F.G.A. standards. We breed for genetically sound fish in our disease-free hatchery.

They are fed 6-8 times per day with a 40 % water change done three times a day. All our babies are raised in uncrowded conditions to achieve maximum growth.

We Guarantee you will receive a healthy and vigorous fish you will be happy to own!

Our fish have good color, size, vigor, and are very prolific. They are mainly line-bred, with related lines, in order to maintain size and vigor in all our fish. Out-crossing is done every few generations to introduce new blood to the line. We employ the use of constant selective breeding. We perform ruthless culling in order to maintain our strains to show standards.

The foods that we offer have been used in our hatchery for over 10 years now. We have been very successful with them, and would not sell you anything we would not use ourselves.
